AI Act Compliance for Sites and AI Agents

Since 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act apply, with no transition period. Every chatbot and voice agent must state that it is AI at first contact. Every published AI video or image showing real people, objects or places must carry a visible mark. There is no exemption for small businesses. What it costs to ignore: up to EUR 15 million or 3% of turnover under the Regulation. For a self-employed provider in Slovenia the national law sets a range starting at EUR 15,000, and that is the lower bound, not the ceiling. Compliance audit, EUR 1,490, three working days. I open every one of your agents and start a conversation, take one recent video from each generating pipeline and inspect the metadata. I build a register of your AI systems with roles (provider or deployer) and a risk classification.
